Romantic Cards

A husband and wife charge towards each other wearing wedding regalia, holding a bat and a frying pan respectively. The limerick reads: "A good marriage must have lots of caring, Plus love and devotion and sharing. If you keep this in mind, Than no doubt you will find. That your wedding rings are well worth wearing.

The man from the east coast wears winter clothing in the snow. The limerick reads: "Christmas in the East must have snow. While in the West it's nice with the sun's glow. Though the temperature ranges, One thing never changes, And that's the warmth beneath the old mistletoe.

A short husband and a tall wife stand together, smiling lovingly on their wedding day. The limerick reads: "A wedding is special, it's true, Because it celebrates the beauty of two. And the best thing in life, Is a husband and wife, Who love each other like you do."

A man and a woman are shopping on Rodeo drive in Hollywood. They pass by a shop with an expensive fur coat in the window, with which the wife is smitten. The limerick reads: "This anniversary I decided to think, About something that could strengthen our link. You see as we grow together, We'll face changes in weather, So what our marriage needs is a mink."

A man takes out the trash, repairs a toilet and mows the lawn while his wife lounges. The limerick reads: "Our marriage has been quite a hit, For one simple reason I'll admit. Since the day we got married, In my heart I have carried, A passion for you that won't quit."

A person waits in line at the post office with a stack of letters and a large package. The limerick reads: "I think of you all through the day. Yet I wish there was a better way. Living so far apart, Brings such pain to my heart, Plus my postage bills grow every day."
